"Trust Your Eyes To Experience" Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery Vincent P. Dahringer, MD is a Board Certified and Fellowship trained ophthalmic surgeon who specializes in surgery of the cornea, including refractive surgery, cataract extraction, and corneal transplant surgery. Dr. Dahringer was born in New Jersey, received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Emory University and a subsequent Masters degree from Emory, as well. He attended medical school at The Medical College of Georgia and did his internship and residency at The University of Tennessee in Memphis. His fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery was completed in 1995 at Springs Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He currently lives with his wife and three children in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dr. Dahringer now practices as part of Southeastern Eye Center in the Raleigh area, specializing in the correction of refractive errors and cataract extraction. Dr. Dahringer is a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The International Society of Refractive Surgery, The North Carolina Medical Society, and The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
